CARBINS / MOTORCYCLE SELECTION GUIDE

Contour-Led Fitting

Careful fitting. A finish that follows the form.

Plan CARBINS motorcycle protection around sculpted panels, finish samples and precise coverage boundaries. Prepare a fitting brief for tanks, fairings and compatible bodywork.

THE SURFACE / THE FINISH

Good coverage follows the motorcycle.

Tight curves, recesses and small panels are part of motorcycle design. A considered protection plan treats those details as the starting point, rather than promising that every shape will take the same piece of film.

This guide brings the fitting decisions together: the exact model, the condition of the finish, the chosen film and the visible layout. Agree them before installation so the expected appearance is clear.

EXPLORE THE APPLICATION

Three areas to consider.

Careful fitting. A finish that follows the form.

01

Curves and recesses

Assess the panel shape and available fitting space, with planned sections where a single piece is unsuitable.

02

Finish and graphics

Compare the film sample with the bodywork and review decals, badges, repaints and existing coatings.

03

Boundaries and access

Keep the coverage plan clear around fasteners, panel gaps and areas that need routine maintenance.

A PLAN BEFORE APPLICATION

Bring the details
into focus.

Prepare the project, compare the selected film and agree the fitting details.

  1. 01

    Prepare the brief

Send model, year, surface photos, finish history and the tank or bodywork coverage you want.

  2. 02

    Review the fitting layout

Agree the film, edge treatment, seams and areas excluded because of function or compatibility.

  3. 03

    Plan aftercare

Keep the product and fitting records, with instructions for washing, inspection and later removal.

YOUR MOTORCYCLE QUESTIONS

A little clarity
before you choose.

Useful answers, from the surface to the selected film.

Is contour-led fitting a separate product?

It is a planning guide for Motorcycle Protection. The actual film is selected by specification, finish and suitability; tank and bodywork pages explain the main coverage areas.

Can fitting be completely seamless?

Some panel shapes need a boundary or separate sections. Review the proposed layout and expected appearance with the installer before agreeing the job.

How should existing graphics be handled?

Tell the installer whether graphics sit above or below the finish and share any manufacturer guidance. Suitability and later removal should be assessed for the actual surface.

What happens after installation?

Follow the selected film’s settling and care instructions. Ask how to inspect edges and when to contact the installer if the appearance or adhesion changes.

CARBINS / LET’S PLAN YOUR PROJECT

Your project.
Your protection plan.

Send the motorcycle make, model, year, panel photos and details of existing paint or graphics. Ask for the current film details, sample options and fitting guidance.
